Peggy "Peg" Louise Harris

Peggy "Peg" Louise Harris, 80, of Pine Island, MN, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Pine Island nursing home after a lengthy illness.

She was born on July 30, 1946 in Mantorville, MN, to Robert and Marion (Thayer) Harris and grew up north of Mantorville. Peg married William Kleeberger in 1962; they were later divorced. William passed away in 1933. They had three sons, Blake, Hal, and Tye. In 1985, Peg relocated to Sane Jose, CA, to be with her life partner, Raymond Stanley. They returned to Pine Island in 2021, where they resided. Mr. Stanley is currently living at Cottagewood Memory Care.

Peg is survived by her sons, Hal (Patricia) Harris of Stewartville and Tye (Lisa) Kleeberger of Pine Island; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin (Mariah) Harris of LaCrosse, WI, Chadwick (Jody) Harris of Milwaukee, WI, Briana (Max) Griffin of Kasson, Corey (Sandy) Kleeberger of Kasson, and Abel Kleeberger of Pine Island; and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Blake; and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Pine Island, MN, with Rev. Tim Graham officiating, visitation one hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cornerstone Baptist Church or Moments Hospice.
