Rhoda (Berglund) Sundquist, age 94, beloved mother and grandmother, of Wabasha, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2019, at the Mayo Health System Lake City Care Center.
Rhoda was born March 4, 1925, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl & Lydia (Moline) Berglund. She was proceeded in death by Carl J. Sundquist (husband), Kenneth W. Berglund (brother), Karl Berglund (brother), Carl V. Berglund (father), and Lydia K. Berglund (mother). She is survived by daughter Jean (Kevin) Powers and son Kurt (Cindy) Sundquist. Grandchildren: Kristina Powers, Matthew Powers, and Kyle Sundquist. Her kind and gentle nature will always be remembered.
A Funeral Service will be held at Mahn Funeral Home Anderson - Peterson Chapel in Lake City on December 20, 2019 at 11 o'clock. Visitation will be one hour before service. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul on December 23, 2019. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
