Richard "Dick" Allen Brunkhorst

Richard "Dick" Allen Brunkhorst, 88, of Red Wing died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at home. Dick was born on May 9, 1938 in Lake City, Minnesota. Dick loved sports throughout his life and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening in his spare time.

Dick is survived by his wife, Linda Brunkhorst; children, Richard Brunkhorst Jr., Dana Brunkhorst, and Dan (Trudy) Brunkhorst; four step-children, Patricia (James) Mackie, Annette (Tim) Kelley, Lisa (Michael) Adams, Thomas (Katherine) Adams; four more step-children, Cory Reese, Jason Reese, Billy Reese, and Nick Reese; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mildred Brunkhorst; his first wife, Patricia; infant daughter, Dawn; and daughter-in-law, Karen.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, Minnesota. Private burial will be at St. John's Cemetery in Lake City, Minnesota.
