Robert H. Hinrichs

Robert H. Hinrichs, age 88 of Zumbrota died on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Zumbrota Health Services Center. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Goodhue with Pastor Regina Hassanally officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Robert Henry Hinrichs was born on August 4, 1927 on the family farm in Goodhue to Gustav and Julia (Firl) Hinrichs. Robert grew up in rural Goodhue and attended White Willow county school and then started working on the family farm. Robert married Roszika Carlson on June 14, 1953. Together they lived in rural Goodhue, where they raised their family and ran the family farm. Roszika passed away in February of 2015, shortly after her passing Robert moved into the Zumbrota nursing home. Robert was an active member for over 60 years at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Robert enjoyed farming, woodworking, his grandchildren, and spending time with family and neighbors.
Robert is survived by his children, Steve Hinrichs of Rogers, MN, DiAnn Hinrichs of Red Wing, Barb (Tom) Webster of Zumbrota, and Cindy (Chuck) Siems of Zumbro Falls; grandchildren, Kate, Bob, Ann, Erika (Adam), Amanda (Tim), Greg, Matt, Ben and Andy; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Ivan, and a baby boy on the way; sister, Arlis Jacobson; brother, Donnie (Joyce) Hinrichs; and sister-in-law, Issie Hernlem.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Roszika Hinrichs; sister, Geri Owen; brothers-in-law, Sid Owen, Bob Jacobson, Elmer Carlson, Connie Hernlem; sister-in-law, Harriet Carlson.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to charity of donors' choice.
Arrangements are with the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel in Zumbrota.
