Robert Alvin Kohrs

Robert Alvin Kohrs, 81, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Mayo’s Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Robert was born on October 9, 1943 to Alvin & Geneva (Wright) Kohrs in Lake City, MN. He grew up in Lake City and Bob graduated from Lincoln High School. Bob then joined the Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He was Honorably Discharged in 1965, returning to Lake City.

Bob owned and operated R.A. Kohrs Trucking and Hillsdale Bison Farm. He also did car transports throughout the United States. He enjoyed working and traveling to all of the states.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Debbie Jewell of Munising, MI; 2 grandsons, R.C. Helsel of Munising, MI., Kyle Jewell of Colorado Springs, Co.; 2 great grandchildren, Ashlynn Helsel, Kaia Jewell.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin & Geneva Kohrs.
