Robert Stellrecht

Robert Joseph Stellrecht, 45, of Cannon Falls, formerly of Red Wing died Sunday from injures received in a motorcycle accident near Cumberland, Wis. He was born on January 10, 1961 in Waseca, Minnesota to Henry and Elizabeth (Burkard) Stellrecht. He graduated in 1979 from Red Wing Central High School and then attended the mechanical machinist program at the Red Wing Vo-Tech. During those years he worked for Erickson?s Super Fair. For two years he worked for Smead?s in Hastings, eight years for Menasha in Lakeville and for the past 10 years for Braun?s Turf Farm in Hampton. He was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church and enjoyed riding motorcycle, splitting wood, going to the movies, visiting people and providing great love to his family, especially his seven nieces and one nephew. Survivors include his parents of Red Wing; four brothers, Jerry Stellrecht of Goodhue, Steve (Deanna) Stellrecht of Welch, Paul Stellrecht of Hastings and Brian Stellrecht of Red Wing; two sisters, Beth (Brian) Hall of Zumbro Falls and Brenda Stellrecht of Spooner, Wis., one nephew, Keaton Stellrecht; seven nieces, Kaela, Korbyne, Kamryn Stellrecht, Dakota Belisle, and Courtney, Cassandra and Lily Hall. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church with Father Thomas M. Kommers presiding. Burial will be in the St. Mary?s Cemetery in Bellechester. Pallbearers will be Dan Perrotte, Tom and Mike Scott, Richard Keane, Fred Fredrickson and Bill Burkard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Zorn, Ron Stellrecht and Richard Ottterness. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with a Rosary at 8 p.m., and at the church for hour prior to the service.
