Robin Herman, 69 of Red Wing, passed away unexpectedly December 27th at her home. Her generosity and free spirited nature will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with, or shared an adventure with Robin.
She had a neverending appreciation for the natural world, she loved kayaking and swimming, as well as peaceful hikes through the woods. She also loved board games and had a fiercely competitive side when it came to winning!
She is preceded in death by her brother Bradley Herman, sister Tanja Bourassa, and her parents Kenneth and Shirley Herman. She is survived by her siblings, Cheri (Todd) Vanberg-Hoeft, Michelle (David) La Pointe, K.G. Herman, and Mary Jo (Kris) Geerdes. As well as her children, Yascha (Molly) Martini, Shayna (Ryan) Swanson, Leah (Nick) Petcoff and her three grandchildren whom she adored (Briah, Domenic, and Maren Swanson).
A celebration of life will be held when the green of life returns, and robins return from their winter migration. Please come share your memories Sunday, June 7th, from 11am - 4pm at the Izaak Walton in Red Wing (1010 East 5th Street
Red Wing, MN 55066).
