Rose Smith

Our beloved sister, Rose Marie Smith, 65, of Zumbrota, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

She was born September 21, 1960, along with her twin sister, Sylvia, in Minneapolis. Rose worked at Dayton's for 17 years, as a manager for Lunds and Byerlys, and as a forklift driver for BIC in Red Wing. Rose had prior forklift driving experience from Dayton's, over a decade and a half. She often out-did her coworkers with her forklift driving skills. Rose also worked at Lloyd's BBQ and Land O'Lakes, with her last job at Speedway in Zumbrota as a cashier. She was a hard worker and a dedicated employee.

Rose will be lovingly remembered by siblings, Catherine Smith, David (Dale) Smith, Sylvia (Scott) Zembo, Deborah Smtih; nephews and nieces, Julye Smith, Brandon, Chabrea Young, Chelsea Young, Daysha Young, Dallas Wright, Rachael Zembo, Jeff Smith, Garrett Keck, Nick Keck, Danielle (Anthony) Civitello Zacharias (Alicia) Fitzgerald, Amadeus Smith, Lueland Enoch Smith; great-nieces and nephews, Gabriella, Kamaurie, Jeffrey Jr., and Nalani, Tigerlily, Samirah and Jamirian, Willow, Adrienna, Zach, Jacob, Austin and Archer, Luel and Enoch; as well as other loved ones, relatives and friends.
