Sandra J. (Eckstrom) Malmquist

Sandra (Eckstrom) Malmquist, 68, of Red Wing, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 4, 2024, at home surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with Multiple System Atrophy. Preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Barbara Eckstrom. Sandy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Craig Malmquist; daughters Erika (Kyle) Rabine and Elise Malmquist; sons Ian (Emmy) Malmquist and Evan (Paige) Malmquist; seven grandchildren; brother Wayne Eckstrom; a niece and three nephews. A private family service will be held. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorials are preferred to multiplesystematrophy.org or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing.
