Seth Quin Eskew, 43, of Zumbrota, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, surrounded by love in the comfort of his home, with his wife beside him.
Born on December 25, 1981, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, to Charles Eskew and Teddie (Eskew) Minchinton, Seth lived a life full of dedication and purpose. An outdoorsman at heart, he loved spending time at deer camp in search of the "big buck," or checking his trail camera to share prospects with friends and family. When he wasn't out chasing deer, Seth loved tinkering with his truck, tearing through the trails or water on his side-by-side, gaming on his devices, or relaxing with reruns of his favorite shows. He took great pride in teaching his daughters about life - and most recently, how to drive their own side-by-side.
After graduating from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School, Seth found many opportunities ahead of him. His path into carpentry began in 2003, when he helped-what would become a lifelong friend-build his dad's garage. His drive and work ethic led him to own and operate an acoustic installation company, a job that took him throughout the U.S. and later years to South America while installing for a company based in Houston, Texas.
Seth met the love of his life, Natalie, in December 2008, and the two were married on June 7, 2014, in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin. Together, they built a life of laughter and shared many camping or hunting adventures. In October 2016, life on the road changed with the arrival of his first daughter, Ella. Becoming a dad brought Seth immense joy, and in March 2019, he was blessed again with the birth of his second daughter, Sayde. He was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters, whose smiles and endless energy could light up his world, and his wallet.
After starting his family, Seth chose to stay closer to home, continuing his work as a proud union carpenter. He brought his skill and craftsmanship to respected companies such as Weis Builders, Benike Construction, and most recently, The Boldt Company. In the hearts of those who knew him best, he will live on through his spirited debates, dependability, love for the outdoors, and deep commitment to the people he loved most.
Seth is survived by his loving wife, Natalie; his cherished daughters, Ella (8) and Sayde (6); his parents, Charles Eskew and Teddie (Paul) Minchinton; his brother, Sean; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members, friends, and coworkers who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life to honor and remember Seth will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Stellar 181 Taphouse in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to support his daughters' future education or endevours.
