Sharon Louise Guyott, 84, of Eagan, died Sunday, September 21, 2025, at M-Health Acute Rehab Center in Minneapolis. She was born on July 11, 1941, in Red Wing to Marvin and Claudia (Fisher) Seaberg. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1959 and attended Mankato State University. On March 16, 1963, she was united in marriage to David Guyott at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing.
Sharon was a Certified Travel Consultant and worked for TWA Airlines, Northern Pacific Airlines, National Car Rental, AAA, Village Travel, Air, Land & Sea Travel, and lastly for Maple Leaf Travel, of which she eventually became owner. In her retirement, she enjoyed gardening and traveling, but most of all spending time with her family. The love she shared with her husband, David, her two children, and her grandsons will always remain in their hearts.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, David Guyott; two children, Lisa Guyott (Jon Menke) of Minneapolis and Mark Guyott of Eagan; three grandsons, Maximilan and Mostyn Guyott and Wyatt Menke; brother Jeffrey Seaberg of Red Wing; sister-in-law Judy Seaberg of Annandale, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Peter Seaberg.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing with Pastor Amy Larson officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Feed My Starving Children, or the Minnesota Arboretum. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
