Shirley Ann Lanesky, 79 of Red Wing formerly of Harvey, Illinois, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Red Wing Health Center. She was born March 14, 1935 in Hammond, Indiana, daughter of Raymond Jones and Zella Lawyer.
Shirley is survived by her children, Robert Johnston Jr. of Pittsburg, PA, Carol (Ryan) Poss of Winneconne, WI, Merrill Johnston of Kansas, Charles Johnston of Rochester, and Bobbie (John) Dilallo of Oshkosh, WI; grandchildren, Carla (Francisco) Ponce, Joshua (Rosemary) Johnston, Randy Kinas, Gloria (Carl) Heinen, Katrina (Perry Bauer) Poss, Crystal (Bill Slaasted) Harris, Misty and Glenn Johnston, Chase and Caitlin Johnston, Amanda (Andrew Lawton) Dilallo, Amber (Hunter) Mares, Anna (Austin) Patri, and Ashley Dilallo; great grandchildren, Katelynn and Hannah Johnston, Dayton and Jace Kinas, Elizabeth, Grant, Evan, Hannah, Max, Lilli, Logan and Cooper Heinen, Aleksander Poss, Mariah, Hailee and Olivia Harris, Jace Mares, Sophia Patri and two great grand babies on the way; siblings, Donna Lauterbach of Spooner, WI, Georgia Schnider of Plymouth, IN, David (Janice) Bessett of Harvey, IL, George Bessett of California, Bob (Shirley) Bessett of California and Jim Bessett of Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Robert Johnston.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
