Steven B. Jacobson

Steven B. Jacobson of Eagan took his final “ride” on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Abbott Northwester Hospital in Minneapolis. He was 71 years old. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Courtney (Jason Asmus) Jacobson of Morgan, MN and Cynthia (Matt) Ballman of Mankato; 5 grandchildren, Amya, Huxley, Odin, Mackenzie and Maddox; a sister, Linda (Tim) Schultz of Richmond, IN; uncle, Richard Jacobson of Red Wing and aunts, Elaine (Ronald) Edlund of Eureka Center, WI and Carolyn Meixner of Ellsworth, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret Jacobson; several aunts and uncles, and a cousin, Brian Jacobson.

Steve was born on September 29, 1951 in Red Wing, Minnesota and graduated from Red Wing Central High School, class of 1972. He attended Rochester Community College where he played football. Steve lived the biker lifestyle through and through. He worked at various bars like Sandy Point and also worked in Eagan as a courier, but his true joy was riding his Harley and the time he spent on it traveling the country.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, beginning at 10 a.m., with a time of sharing and stories at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donors choice.
