Thomas Fredrick Jennings, 64, of Ellsworth, died Saturday, December 20, 2025, at his son’s home in rural Ellsworth. He was born on September 11, 1961, to Paul and Generva (Holden) Jennings. He graduated in 1980, from Red Wing Central High School and then served in the National Guard for a few years. In 1984, he married Debbie Melstrom and they had two sons, Travis and Jake. They later divorced. Tom began working for Red Wing Shoe Company, then for Olson Construction, returning to the Shoe Company where he currently was employed.
Tom loved demolition derby’s, stock car racing, 4wheeling, snowmobiles, deer hunting, riding his Harley and being a clown. Most of all he enjoyed the opportunity to be with his family especially his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his two sons, Travis (Ashlee) Jennings and Jake (Tiffany) Jennings; five grandchildren, Ayden, Ava, Mason, Parker and Kinsley; two sister, Donna Johnson and Cindy Carroll and two brothers, Mark (Sara) Jennings and Tony Jennings along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Tim Carroll.
A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing. Immediately following the visitation, a celebration of life will be at the Outpost Bar and Grill in Bay City.
