Victoria Alice (Beckman) Golden was born on September 12, 1951 to Monroe and Doris (Larson) Beckman. She was adopted in infancy by her loving relatives, Glady and Orval Young and grew up with them in Red Wing, MN.
She met the love of her life, Rory Golden and they were married March 20, 1969. Vicky became a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother in short order! She worked at Riedell Skates, Hardee's, Braschler's Bakery, Liberty's Pizza, Smokey Row Cafe, and found time to have a day care as well. She volunteered for Birthright, Anna Dee's, and Pass it on. These all showed her many loves: food, babies and yard sales! And, of course, COFFEE. She loved everyone she met, and always found angels to help her when she needed it.
Vicky is survived by her daughter Melissa (Mark) Boyum; grandchildren, Tucker (Anna) Wiech, Taylor (Megan) Wiech, Tiffany Wiech, Sierra (Dustin) Scarbor and Sydney (Matthew) Lindblad; great-grandchildren Micah, Nora and Dawson Wiech and Aurora Scarbor; her brothers, Richard Beckman, Lowell Young, and sister, RoseAnn Powers. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Gladys Young; her husband, Rory; her daughters, Jennifer Ann and Diana Lynn; brothers, Harold Omsberg, LeRoy Young and John Young; sisters, Mary Larson, Lois McRoberts, Jeannette Nelson and Irene Furchner. Vicky also had many cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved interacting with, especially her "sister/cousin" Brenda Singer, who helped her out in her last years.
A celebration of life for Vicky will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 at the Red Men Club in Red Wing beginning at 1 p.m. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Red Wing. Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
