Wayne Kevin Bailey, 62, of Farmington, died Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 16, 1963, in Red Wing, to Milverd Bailey and Bonnie (Van Guilder) Pfingsten. He graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1981, then started working for Asplundh Tree Experts as a tree trimmer with his older brother, and within his 42-year career, became the Regional Manager of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Wayne met his wife, Sarah Galvin, at a softball game and they later married on October 12, 1991, in Red Wing. They lived in the cities then moved to Farmington where they lived for 31 years. Throughout Wayne’s life he was an avid baseball and softball fan, he travelled to 16 different stadiums to watch the Minnesota Twins play. He was an all-around MN sports fan. More than anything he was a family man that never missed a dance competition and enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball teams for six years.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; daughter, Alexis; son, Heath all of Farmington; brother, Scott (Jackie) Bailey of Oklahoma; sister, Lisa Pfingsten of Red Wing; as well as nieces and nephew. Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Pfingsten; maternal grandparents, Senica and Alice Van Guilder; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
