Wesley A. Hotlen, 74, of Red Wing, died Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Lake City Care Center. He was born October 18, 1951, in Beloit, Wisconsin, to Wallace and June (Allen) Hotlen. His family moved to Minnesota, where he graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City, class of 1971. Wesley married Linda Elias in 1973 and together they had two sons, Jeremy and Chris. Wesley served in the Army National Guard and had worked several different jobs in the area. Upon his retirement, he had been employed with Treasure Island. Wesley liked sports, was a Green Bay Packer fan and he enjoyed watching wrestling. His family will remember his sense of humor and the lighthearted, comical perspective he brought to life.

He is survived by 2 sons, Jeremy (Kerri) Hotlen of Deltona, Florida and Chris (Holly) Hotlen of Claremont, Minnesota; 7 grandchildren, Kyler, Jacob, Logan, Casie, Elizabeth, Jacob and Morgan; 4 great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Ama, Jaeden and Reven; 4 siblings, Mike (Karen) Hotlen of Wisconsin, Kathleen (Jim) Zwiener of Lake City, Kellie (Les) Roemhildt of Cottage Grove and Kari (Brett) Johnson of Oakdale and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Joni and siblings, Keith, Patricia, Marilyn, Peggy and Karen.

A private family burial will be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City. Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home.
