Wilda Ann Prigge, 95, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Lake City Care Center.

Wilda was born on April 22, 1928 to Clarence & Ruth (Dahle) Erickson in Spring Grove, MN.

Wilda married Emery Prigge on March 19, 1955, at Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester. She worked as a Dwelle Telephone Operator and then as a Housekeeper at the Lake City Hospital for 20 years until she retired in 1990. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Wilda enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family & friends. She enjoyed a cold beer and few pull-tabs.

Survived by three daughters, Simone (Dennie) Voll and Karen (Jeff) Hubbard, both of Stewartville, and Nancy Jumbeck of Fargo; two sons, Steve Prigge and Jeff (Jeri) Prigge, both of Lake City; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emery; her sister, Ruby.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson – Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Lake City. On-Line Condolences may be placed at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
