William E. Kelm, 71, of Red Wing, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Fairview Seminary Home. He was born Feb. 11, 1941, in Pine Island, to Ernest and Adeline (Waldron) Kelm. He served 40 years in Law Enforcement between Dodge and Goodhue County as a Sheriff's Deputy. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He also served as a Deacon at Christ Episcopal Church in Red Wing.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judy of Red Wing; daughter, Linda Kelm of Red Wing and son, Rev. Mark (Elizabeth Hyduke) Kelm of the Twin Cities; grandchildren, Joshua, Brianna, Grace, Samuel and Anna and sister, Patricia (Jim) Walter of Pine Island.
The Rite of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Red Wing. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the church. www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
