William James LaBonte, 84, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at his home.
William was born on November 17, 1941, to William and Leone (Jay) LaBonte in Stanley, Wisconsin. He graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School and served in the U.S. Army.
A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, June 11th at 11 am at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City with Father The Hoang. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. A Celebration of Life will be held at Lake City VFW Post 8729 from 12:30 to 4 Thursday after the service.
