Hazelle Zellmer Rubsam was born 7-26-1921 and reached her heavenly home on 6-2-2020. She was surrounded by family in her last days.
She was married to Lloyd Rubsam for 54 years and had been waiting to join him again since 12-6-97.
She was Mom to Caroline Ferdig, Ellen Pearson, Gwen Forrest, and Mavis Rubsam.
She was Gram or Gramma to granddaughters Debbie (Larry) Carlson, Wendy (Bruce) Fuchs, Renee Forrest, Kris (Peter) Wetterling, Vicky (Richard) Ward and Mindy (Thomas) Boeck; great-granddaughters Amy (Jordan) Boettcher, Leah Ward, Lindsey Ward, and Madison (Madi) Boeck; great-grandsons Josh (Hannah) Fuchs and Parker Boeck; great-great granddaughter Natalie Boettcher; and great-great grandson Niles Boettcher.
Predeceased by parents, August & Nellie Zellmer; Brothers Harold, Warren (Bud), Dale, Bob, Roger Zellmer; Sisters Dorothy Andres and Donna Tanghe; and sons-in-law Dale Ferdig and Ron Forrest.
Her brother Orval (Elaine) Zellmer and many nieces and nephews survive.
Hazelle loved the MN Twins, loved music and fishing.
Until she was no longer able, Hazelle kept busy with all types of needlework, and made and donated over 100 quilts to Ronald McDonald House in Rochester.
We will miss her!
A memorial graveside service will be held Monday June 22nd at 10:30 AM at Newport Cemetery in Newport, Minnesota; the Rev. Kenneth Beale will officiate.
