On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, John Rogers Taylor passed away at the age of 66 after a battle with terminal illness. John was a longtime resident of Rochester, Minnesota having moved to the area at age 7.
John was born in Johnson City, New York on December 7, 1954 to Charles E. and Audrey L. Taylor. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School. John was a gentle soul with a good sense of humor which was appreciated by his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, lobster dinners, long walks, and hanging out. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his father Charles E. Taylor of Rochester Minnesota; brothers Richard Taylor (Joanne) of Ocala, Florida and Phillip Taylor (Jennifer) of Rochester, Minnesota; sister Laura Larson (Eric) of Oak Park, Illinois; and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Taylor, Jr. and his mother Audrey Taylor.
The family extends their thanks to Season's Hospice for their compassionate service.
A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
