Judith Elaine Wiskow passed away surrounded by her family on November 16, 2021 at the age of 81 from pancreatic cancer.  She was born on August 14, 1940 in Pender, NE to Art and Wilma Jorgensen .  She graduated from St. Charles High School and in 1958 married Bernard Wiskow.  Together they had four children.  She held a variety of jobs until moving to the farm north of Rochester in 1964 where she milked cows, tended the calves, did field work, gardened, baked, and did anything else that was needed.  In 1974 they moved to the farm near Bellechester where the farming operation grew.  After retiring from farming, she went to work at Treasure Island & Casino for 13 1/2 years.  She then moved to Rochester and assisted her brother-in-law with his painting business until six years ago.  Judy loved getting together with her family and friends, playing cards, going to all the birthday parties, bowling, doing crossword puzzles, and playing the "buffalo" game during her trips to the casino.   She held a special place in her heart for all of her family and her dear friends.
Judy is survived by her children; Jeff Wiskow (Renee), Monica Poncelet (Kent Haugen), and Brenda Reese (Bill Ringeisen), brother Allan Jorgensen, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Sandra Jorgensen, brother-in-law Mike Mart, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by Bernard, her parents, daughter Valerie, brothers Larry and Donnie Jorgensen, sisters Peggy Embrey, Bette Mart, and Connie Wheeler, brother-in-law Lee Wheeler, and granddaughter Jamie O'Reilly.
The family would like to thank Jacob Jochum, PA and the Oncology team at Mayo Clinic for the wonderful care mom received and also Mayo Clinic Hospice for their assistance.
Private burial will be in the St. Charles cemetery.
