Kathleen Langenfeld

Kathleen Rose Langenfeld, 82, of Red Wing, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, at the Benedictine Living Community – the Villa.    She was born on November 9, 1938, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Frederick and Hazel (Valle) Robertson.  She graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud and then worked many years in the nursing field.  On September 11, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gordon Langenfeld.  They lived in Red Wing for a number of years and then moved to Alexandria, Minnesota.  She later moved back to Red Wing.  Gordon died on July 19, 2005.  She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph.  She loved the outdoors, enjoyed singing,having family gatherings and being with family, especially her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by two children, Lance Langenfeld of Williston, ND and Nicole (Chad) Anderson of Hager City; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, David (Marlene) Robertson of Sartell, MN and Connie Gilbride of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Bob.  She was preceded in death by her husband.
