Lyle Gordon Danielson

Lyle Gordon Danielson, 91, of Rochester, passed away in Rochester on February 10, 2021.

Lyle was born on May 18, 1929 in Choice, MN to George and Lilian Danielson. He was raised in rural Rushford, MN. Lyle worked for Sizer Trucking, Gopher Aviation and Adamson Motors for 25years. He was a charter member at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and lifetime member of Sons of Norway. He met the love of his life Helen Hagen at the Pla-Mor Ballroom, in 1952.They were married on July 23, 1955. They loved to dance and to see them on the floor was like watching poetry in motion. Their marriage was the picture of what true love is all about.

Lyle loved to dance, sing, travel and find good food, make lefse with Helen, and meticulously detail his cars. Lyle had the most positive attitude, a kind spirit, and was just a good man.

He is survived by a niece, Jackie Jaderborg, of Rochester, 5 godchildren; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Helen.

There will be a graveside service held for Lyle at a later date.

Memorials may be sent to Mahn Family Funeral Home  Rochester Chapel and will be forwarded to the family.
