Vivian Lavina Lutkat, 104, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at St. Crispin Living Community. She was born on August 30, 1915, in Salem Township, Pierce County, Wisconsin to Albert and Cora (Komisrud) Marsh. She attended rural schools near Beldenville. In 1934 she was united in marriage to Edmund Fischer. They lived in Chicago for 25 years and later divorced. She married Leslie Seufert in 1967 and he preceded her in death. In 1969 she married Walter Lutkat and in 1988 he preceded her in death. For a few years she worked for Red Wing Industries, cleaned homes for local residents and was a homemaker. She was an active member of United Lutheran Church, where she served on the funeral committee, participated in the Leah Circle and the quilting group and also helped assemble the church newsletter each week.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Dianne Coulson of Red Wing; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands; one son LeRoy Fischer and one granddaughter, Leslee Fischer.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2019, at United Lutheran Church in Red Wing with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to United Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be sent to the church at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
